WANTED: RESIDENT MEMBERS to serve as VOLUNTEERS LEADERS & VOLUNTEERS for our Northeast Cards, Games & Crafts [CGC] Club program. Our CGC Club has had to go on hiatus due to a lack of sufficient volunteers to operate the club each week. This program, which turned two in September, has become a vital and much need social group for some 30+ participants, who live in Northeast London and area. The program is offered FREE, funded by LIHC, and is managed by a group of NELCE members who volunteer their time and energy to operate these sessions every Monday from 1:30-3:30pm. Some of the weekly tasks that our volunteers perform include food and drink preparation, overseeing our Needles n Thread group, leading our Crafts Table, managing our monthly budget including light book-keeping, and kitchen clean up.
We urgently need dedicated, committed, reliable Northeast resident members who have a passion for community service, love socializing, playing games, helping in the kitchen or doing craft activities, such as art, crafts, knitting, sewing, crocheting, or want to help others by making a difference in their lives.
  • Do you like to lead or help coordiante a group activity?
  • Do you love handling administrative tasks?
  • Can you help out for 3-5 hours a week which you can commit to helping our CGC Club?
Call 519-659-1271ext. 500 or email for more information.
